Meet Jonathan Broadwater, owner and creator of Meal Stylings!
Chef Jonathan Broadwater is a native from Queens, New York with South Carolina roots based in Charleston. He is now based in North Bergen, New Jersey. At a young age, Jonathan constantly helped his mother in the kitchen, which is where his love for cooking started. At first he pursued a career in becoming a lawyer, but soon realized his heart was in cooking. With his families full support, in 2005, he attended the French Culinary Institute in New York. After graduating in 2006, he worked in a few kitchens around NYC as a prep cook, line cook and eventually making his way up to becoming a chef. In 2019, he decided to open up his own business, Meal Stylings.
Meal Stylings started out as a Chef for Hire catering company. Not too long after, Meal Stylings had become larger than he could have imagined: doing gigs for celebrities and big corporations like Estee Lauder and Google. Sadly, a series of unfortunate events, the latest being COVID, ended up shutting him down completely. As the business started to rebuild as COVID improved, Jonathan decided to switch gears a bit. With his personality and friendly demeanor, he felt that a more intimate chef/cooking experience would be well received. Meal Stylings now creates meals that are macro friendly and fully customizable to each individual’s goals. His niche covers all food genres, with a focus in delivering flavorful, savory and healthy foods that fit your unique lifestyle.
You can find Meal Stylings on Instagram @meal_stylings and on Facebook and Twitter. He can also be reached directly through email at mealstylings.com or by phone at (201) 966-1702.
